Source of health

Thanks to its particular chemical-physical composition, the spring water of the Sorgente Tesorino has diuretic properties comparable to those of waters with a low mineral content, but at the same time has the advantages of a high concentration of calcium, magnesium, carbonate and sulfate. In addition, clinical studies (Paolini and others) on the possibility of using medium strength mineral water in the treatment of urinary stones have shown the perfect tolerability of Tesorino water even at high doses, up to 3 liters per day, for longer periods, up to 2 -3 months in both young adults and the elderly. These two factors, the special chemical-physical composition, which brings it closer to an oligomineral in terms of diuretic properties, but at the same time makes it rich in minerals relevant to health and the excellent tolerability, give it special beneficial properties that are recognized and used by medicine become.

INDICATIONS OF

SORGENTE TESORINO SPRING WATER

Stimulating diuresis

Tesorino water can stimulate diuresis in a comparable way to mineral-poor waters, which have more or less diuretic properties due to their composition.

The mechanism that regulates diuresis is very complex and involves the interaction of both the functional structures of the kidney and the finely regulated action of some hormones. It is based on an exchange between water and salts or between their dissociated form, the so-called ions, the chloride ions, calcium ions, potassium ions.

Tesorino water can favor this system when it is absorbed in the intestine, a passage that allows it to enter the circulation and thin the blood (hemodilution). This dilution is sensed by sensors called osmoreceptors, which send a message to the brain to reduce production of antidiuretic hormone (ADH).

This hormone triggers various mechanisms in the kidney, cardiovascular system and nervous system that lead to water retention. By reducing the release of ADH, diuresis is stimulated. Tesorino water also stimulates the peristalsis of the ureter, that is, the activity of the ducts that connect the kidneys to the bladder and, when activated, promote urination.

These two mechanisms lead to a reduction in the production of antidiuretic hormone

and increased ureteral peristalsis, Sorgente Tesorino water ensures excellent results

Stimulating diuresis.

Help with resolution and

Prevention of kidney stones

The use of Sorgente Tesorino water in urology has now proven to be effective both in preventing and dissolving kidney stones. The use is justified by the ability of this water to stimulate diuresis, a process that facilitates the excretion of stones, and by a specific action at the kidney level, which favors the descent of stones from the highest parts of the urinary system and their dissolution.

A first effect of Tesorino water is to increase the peristalsis of the ureter. This causes a mechanical effect on the tissue walls of the kidneys, ureters and bladder, which, together with the increase in urine flow (through the diuretic effect), sheds the epithelium It removes salts, crystals and gravel, but also bacteria and foreign substances and favors them Spread and elimination.

The second effect of Tesorino water is to vary the pH of the urine, i.e. This change in pH also alters the vitality of some bacteria present in the urinary tract and favors the effectiveness of some antibiotic treatments.

Tesorino water is therefore indicated for kidney stone diseases both for prevention and in conjunction with pharmacological therapy. It may also be helpful in preventing common urinary tract infections.

to improve disruptions

of the digestive system

Calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate, in which Tesorino water is particularly rich, can have an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect, i.e. muscle relaxation, at the stomach and intestinal level. They also promote the release of gastrin, an important hormone for stomach function and gastric emptying, making digestion easier overall.

For these reasons, Sorgente Tesorino water is indicated for various diseases of the digestive system, such as:

- hypersthenic dyspepsia, that is, episodes of poor digestion associated with cramps and heartburn in the stomach

- Hiatal hernia, a condition that causes, among other things, gastroesophageal reflux, which is accompanied by heartburn, pain and indigestion

- Irritable bowel syndrome, especially in cases of spastic constipation

in improving the

hepato-cholecystic activity

Tesorino water exerts a choleretic and cholagogue effect thanks to the high concentration of bicarbonate and sulfate and is therefore suitable for cleansing the liver, preventing gallstones and lowering cholesterol levels

The liver and gallbladder (or gallbladder) work together to produce and use bile. Bile is made up of various components, including water and lipids, particularly bile salts, phospholipids and cholesterol. The functions of bile are diverse: it allows the elimination of cholesterol, the absorption of lipids and fat-soluble vitamins, and contributes to the digestive processes on several levels. Choleretic substances are drugs, natural products or foods that increase bile secretion from the liver while in contact with choleretic drugs

Cholagogue stimulates its release in the intestines. These substances are very useful in the cleansing processes of the liver and gallbladder, which lead to oversaturation of cholesterol in certain diseases or, more commonly, in an excessively high-fat diet. In these diseases, excess cholesterol can not only damage the cardiovascular system, but also precipitate in the form of salts and form gallstones.
